Planning and successfully executing an event is not a one-man show. It takes a multitude of people, companies, products/services, and intangible ideas fitting together seamlessly- much like a puzzle- to create the final vision. With that said, it's vital to work well as a team and "play nice in the sandbox". Our panel will be represented by an assortment of vendor managers (venue, catering captain, rentals, AV, DMC, etc.) and deep dive into all things regarding vendor relationships. These local event professionals will chat about preferred partnerships/vendor lists, business pet peeves, common coordination issues, what they wish others would know, and more! This interactive session will reveal honest opinions about our industry's operations and ideally help us better understand each other so we can work in unison.

The Pannikin Building offers the old-time beauty only found in some of San Diego's most historic buildings: original exposed brick, vaulted ceilings, open beams, and beautiful wood floors offer a blank canvas for you to envision your next event. With 5,700 Sq. Ft. of imaginative space between two levels, you really can make this space whatever you want it to be. The upstairs includes 4,200 Sq. Ft. of open space and the downstairs 1,500 Sq. Ft. includes breakout rooms, a second bar and catering prep area. Nestled in the trendy Gaslamp District of downtown SD, the building is walkable to some of the most hip parts of downtown: 5th Ave, Petro Park, etc. Come envision your next event!
